The body of one person retrieve while three still missing feared dead after two houses were washed away following a massive landslide at Nongpriang village under Shella block.
The landslide was triggered due to the incessant rainfall because of the aftermath of cyclone Remal in which four persons went missing including three senior citizens and one minor. The incident occurred between 3-6am this morning.
Swung into action, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) managed to retrieve the body of Phisar Nongrum but the remaining three Kynmaw Syngai (70 years), Benti Riahtam (60 years) and Master Lumlang Riahtam 16 years are still missing.
Efforts are on to locate the three missing people.
