Bodies of Wanboklang Kurbah (20) and Phibankyntiew Sun (18) have been recovered from a waterfall at Traw village in East Khasi Hills District after 12 days of search and rescue operation launched by the state police.
The body of Phibankyntiew was recovered in the late evening of October 3 while the body of Wanboklang was recovered today, police said.
Both were reported missing since 20 September from their respective homes in Marbisu and Traw village which falls under Mawngap Police Station and all efforts were made by the police, parents and the public to search for them.
