Three students from the All India Services Pre-Examination Training Centre (AISPETC) have cleared the UPSC prelims.
They are Nidakyrkhu Dkhar, Anmiel Azareel Syiem and Thomas Edison Sumer.
The institute housed at MATI campus in Mawdiangdiang provides coaching for over 125 students every year for the past two years, Director of AISPETC said.
This has hostel capacity of about 75 where students from across the state come to study.
Faculty from major cities of India come for online and offline classes here regularly.
Test batches are conducted at regular intervals. This has helped the three candidates – Nidakyrkhu Dkhar, Anmiel Azareel Syiem and Thomas Edison Sumer.
One of them is a hostlier and has expressed that the regular classes and test batches helped to crack this tough exam.
The institute shall arrange for mains preparation which is scheduled in September for these students so that they may clear the next two step process. More than 10 lakh students applied for the examination of which only 14,000 made to the mains.
