Shillong, Sep 9 – Meghalaya Deputy Chief Minister and Home (Police) Minister Prestone Tynsong was admitted to Nazareth Hospital, Shillong, on Monday after suffering a small Subdural Hemorrhage. Sources confirmed that while he remains under observation in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), his condition is stable and he is conscious.
A Government bulletin said, “Deputy Chief Minister Mr Prestone Tynsong was admitted today at 5pm in Nazareth Hospital under the Department of Neurosurgery for a small Subdural Hemorrhage the cause for which is still under investigation, he is however conscious and alert and his condition is stable but he is under close medical observation.”
Sources informed, “A CT scan has already been conducted, and a standby medical team from NEIGRIHMS (North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences) is present at the hospital to provide additional support if needed.”
Despite his hospitalization, officials have reassured the public that Tynsong is stable and receiving close monitoring in the ICU for precautionary measures.
