NPP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar on Tuesday said Dr. W.R Kharlukhi has expressed willingness to be relieved as the NPP State President.
Talking to Meghalaya News 24, Dhar said the party is yet to take any call in this regard.
“He (Kharlukhi) expressed, we will see the party will take a call,” the NPP leader said.
Asked, he said, “He (Kharlukhi) expressed that yes I am old enough and I am busy with trips between Delhi and Shillong and we said we will examine the matter.”
“The meeting has to be called by him as president,” Dhar said while reacting to a query on reshuffle within the party before Lok Sabha polls.
