Active coronavirus cases drop below 150 mark.

Nineteen more persons have tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday taking the total cases in the state to 13,427, even as the active cases drop below 150 in the state.
Director of Health Services (MI) Dr Aman War said the new cases include 18 from East Khasi Hills district, while, 01 is from West Garo Hills.
Of the 54 persons who recovered from the viral infection, Dr War said 40 are from East Khasi Hills, 01 West Garo Hills, 11 Ri Bhoi, and 02 from West Khasi Hills.
So far, the state has detected a total of 13,427 COVID-19 cases out of which 149 are active cases, 13,139 recovered and 139 died.
Dr War said the fatality rate due to COVID-19 is 1.04 percent.
Of the total active cases, East Khasi Hills has 113 positive cases, West Garo Hills 14, East Garo Hills 01, West Jaintia Hills 01, Ri Bhoi 13, South West Garo Hills 03, West Khasi Hills 03, North Garo Hills 01, East Jaintia Hills 0, South West Khasi Hills 0 , and South Garo Hills 0.
“Till date, swab samples of 2, 93,470 persons have been tested of which 2,80,043 were found negative,” the senior medical official said.

There are 77,935 entrants from outside the state.
