President of AGHSSASTA-CB, L.G. Momin on behalf of All Garo Hills SSA School Teachers’ Association (AGHSSASTA-CB) has expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister, Conrad K. Sangma, Education Minister of Meghalaya Rakkam A. Sangma, State project director (SEMAM) SwapnilTembe (IAS), beside others for their hard work and concern towards the grievances of SSA Teachers in the state.
The AGHSSASTA-CB said their salaries have been cleared up to the month of November 2023 and their four months’ pending arrears out of eight month 2016-17 PAB was also paid up by the state Government.
Meanwhile, the secretary of AGHSSASTA-CB B.CH.Marak expressed confidence that the state Government will meet their demand for Regularization of services and enhancement of SSA Teachers’ salary.
“So far we are having two long pending demands i.e. Regularization of services and enhancement of SSA Teachers’ salary. That we are positively expecting to be met with these two pending demands from the state Government during their tenure,” he added.
The publicity secretary of AGHSSASTA-CB Bunbunbirth R. Marak, “Regarding the salary in personal account we are grateful to our state Government for helping us to get our salary in our personal account without any hindrances during disbursement of salary. Some positive changes are witnessed from the state Government to our demands and we are hopefully waiting to achieve our ultimate demands in their capable leadership of the present State Government”.
