A Nodal Officer level meeting between the Border Guarding Forces of India and Bangladesh held at Tamabil, Bangladesh today.

The BSF delegation led by U K Nayal DIG with 05 other officials was from India side and Bangladesh side, 05 delegates led by Lt. Col. Abdul Kader Md. Ashraf Ali Mamun, Border Guard Bangladesh North-East Region Sarail, attended the meeting.

In the meeting, both the Border Guarding Forces discussed the border problems faced by them that include the cattle smuggling, Drugs & Narcotics, fake currency, and other contraband items beside others were discussed.

The construction of ICP Dawki also figured in the discussion between the Nodal officers of the two Border Guarding Forces. Both sides agreed to jointly prevent trans-border crimes and pursue all pending development works to further strengthen the existing strong relations between the two countries.
