Central Recruitment Board Suspends Ongoing Physical Efficiency Test Amid Alleged Recruitment Process Deficiencies

SHILLONG, NOV 21: The Central Recruitment Board (CRB) on Thursday suspended the ongoing Physical Efficiency Test (PET) with effect from November 22, after there were alleged deficiencies in the recruitment  process.

 

Inspector General of Police (SB/F&ES/Bdr.) -cum- Chairman CRB Dalton P Marak in a statement said, “It has been brought to the notice of the Central Recruitment Board that there were deficiencies in the Physical Efficiency Test conducted at 1st MLP Mawiong Shillong and 4th MLP BN Sohpian in the last four days (November 18 to 21).”

 

“This matter was thoroughly scrutinized by the CRB. The CRB is committed to ensuring an error free PET. Therefore, the CRB Meghalaya Police is suspending the ongoing PET with immediate effect from November 22,” he said.

 

He informed new dates for the PET will be announced at a later date and equal opportunity will be given to all candidates.
