Chief Minister Conrad Sangma tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday. Sangma was the Chief Guest in the Meghalaya Day celebration, however, he had to skip the official function after he was develop COVID 19 symptoms.
Informing about this, Sangma tweets: “I am isolating myself for the required time. I have mild symptoms. All those who came into contact with me last few days are requested to observe their symptoms and test if necessary.”
It may be mention that this is the second time that the chief Minister is infected by COVID. Sangma who was in Delhi to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah yesterday along with Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswasarma developed mild COVID symptom this morning.
