Conrad Sangma sworn in as Chief Minister of Meghalaya

Meghalaya Chief minister Conrad Sangma on Tuesday sworn in a the Chief Minister of Meghalaya in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP Chief JP Nadda and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Bishwasharma.

The NPP leaders Prestone Tynsong (Pynursla) and Sniawbhalang Dhar (Nartiang) were sworn in vas the Deputy Chief Ministers. The cabinet have three Ministers from Garo Hills Regions which includes Rakkam A. Sangma (Rongara-siju constituency), Marcuise N. Marak (Williamnagar), and former Speaker AT Mondal (Phulbari).

From Khasi Jaintia Hills, former Education Minister Dr. M Ampareen Lyngdoh (East Shillong) and former cabinet Minister Comingone Ymbon (Raliang) too found space in the cabinet.

Paul Lyngdoh and Kyrmen Shylla of UDP, AL Hek from BJP, Shakliar Warjri from HSPDP became part of the News MDA 2.0 cabinet.

The Chief Minister and his council of Ministers were sworn in by the Governor of Meghalaya.
