After all health workers receive the shots, the government will focus on frontline workers, municipal workers, police personnel, and people working in disaster management. In the third phase, people aged above 50 years and those with comorbidities will be covered.
Stating that after around thirty thousand health care workers are vaccinated the Government will roll out a vaccination drive for the frontline workers, Kumar said, “There are 27,087 health care workers in the entire state and over two thousand are from central agencies which makes it around 30,000 health care workers… so after that, we will start with frontline workers.”
