Deputy CM Prestone Tynsong Discharged from Hospital, Recovering Well in Delhi

Shillong, Sep 18: Meghalaya’s Deputy Chief Minister, Prestone Tynsong, has been discharged from Apollo Hospital, where he was receiving treatment. According to National People’s Party (NPP) spokesperson and former Mawsynram MLA, Himalaya Shangpliang, Tynsong is now resting at Meghalaya House in Delhi.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Shangpliang shared, “Our Deputy Chief Minister has been released from Apollo Hospital and is now in good health. He has started eating and walking by himself. After a few days of rest, he will return to Shillong.”

Shangpliang further expressed gratitude to those who supported Tynsong during his treatment, stating, “We are thankful to everyone, especially the people of Pynursla, who prayed for him during this time.”

The NPP spokesperson reassured the public of Tynsong’s commitment to serving the people of Meghalaya, adding, “The deputy chief minister will continue his duties, and the party fully supports him during his recovery.”
