Former Chief Minister and AITC MLA from Songsak constituency Dr. Mukul M Sangma on Saturday has written to Chief Secretary DP Wahlang following threat messages circulated in social Media against him by the supporters of NPP.
In a message to the Chief Secretary, Dr. Sangma said, “Deliberate incitement to spread hatred and do personal harm upon me being aggressively done, take action as per law.”
It may be mentioned that the latest political development where Non NPP- Non BJP parties are trying to get together to form the Government has not gone well with the supporters of NPP.
One social media user posted on facebook calling people to go to Dr Mukul’s house and throw stones and also burnt effigy.
The second user has rather made a communal statement of inciting violence which has not gone well with the former CM.
“People engaged in criminal conspiracy are inciting to create communal riots & personal harm to me. Just reported to the CS to take action as per law,” Dr Sangma added.
Meanwhile, the government has increased security outside his house.
