East Khasi Hills District admin launches ‘Aadhar saturation campaign’

The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District has inform to the citizen of East Khasi Hills District, that the Government of India is allowing only three month for saturation of beneficiaries upto 100% Aadhaar seeding as a special case.

After that the fund for programme will be release only on the basis of beneficiaries who are Aadhaar seeded and uploaded on the Poshan Tracker.

It is therefore, to remind to all the citizens that Aadhaar enrolment is mandatory for availing schemes and flagship programme of the Government of India which includes MGNREGA, NFSA, NSAP, LPG connection, MHIS & Post-matric scholarship.

 

This is done against the backdrop of UIDAI’s circular of a three-month extension for Aadhaar enrolment for states, failing which the non-registered citizens may be unable to avail various central government subsidies and benefits.

 

Further,  the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills appeals to all citizens to ensure Aadhaaar Enrolment especially of citizens who are eligible for various flagship programmes.

 

It may be reminded that for Aadhaar enrolment, Birth Certificate is mandatory required, hence, Parents and Children who have not applied for Birth Certificate are hereby requested to apply for the same at the earliest.

 

Aadhaar enrolment is at present being carried out in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills (Top Floor), all the eleven (11) Blocks of East khasi Hills District and identified camps. The schedule of Aadhaar enrolment will be made available in the District website https://eastkhasihills.gov.in/
