“We are going to regroup again as so many  people are not happy with the present leadership of BJP in Meghalaya but it is our responsibility and I feel it is my duty to re- ensure that everybody returns back to BJP and  work hand in hand for strengthen the party,”

Stating that his main priority will be to strengthen the saffron party in the state, the former Minister said, “National BJP leaders have appointed me as one of the National executive member of BJP to strengthen the party organisation in our state Meghalaya since we are heading to 2023 Assembly election and with this new dispensation definitely we are going to strengthen the party.”

Asked, the senior Legislator from Pynthorumkhrah assembly Constituency said that BJP can form Government in the state provided it has the right kind of leadership to lead the party.

“If we have the right leadership then I am telling you it will be a BJP led Government in Meghalaya in 2023 but we need to have the right leadership to lead the party in our state,” Hek added.
