Director General of Police Dr LR Bishnoi has informed that the East Jaintia Hills Police on Wednesday arrested one person with more than 1 kg of heroin worth over Rs 5 crore from Ladrymbai area.
Appreciating the Anti Narcotics Tasks Force for this major seizure, Dr.Bishnoi tweets:
“Success saga continues! The @ejhpolice nabbed the kingpin drug trafficker from Mizoram & seized 1.05KgHeroin worth value₹5crore at Ladrymbai in the wee hours of morning today. Kudos to ANTF & due rewards in the offing for team!”
Police informed the ANTF team of East Jaintia Hills under supervision of the Additional Superintendent of Police, Banraplang Jyrwa, alongside staffs of Lad Rymbai Outpost detected big consignment of 100 soap boxes containing heroin weighing 1040 grams from Albert Lalro Piang of Mizoram.
