HSPDP withdraws support to NPP

Not being able to find their ‘Missing MLAs’, Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) has written to NPP National President Conrad K Sangma withdrawing support.

President of the Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) KP Pangniang  in his letter to Sangma, said, that the party did not authorize its two MLAs, Methodius Dkhar and Shakliar Warjri to lend support to the formation of his government as reported in the media.

“The party no role in this affair, and therefore, we withdraw our support to your party,” Pangngiang said.

He also said that the party withdrawal of support is effective from Friday.

It may be mentioned that the two HSPDP MLAs two went to the residence of  UDP leader Lahkmen Rymbui in Laitumkhrah but after some time, they left the premises and ever since had gone missing.

“Since morning they have been with us and I don’t know where they are. They are missing – please find them,” Pangniang said.

Meanwhile, as per the report the two HSPDP legislators have submitted letters of support to the NPP.
