SHILLONG, APR 5: Opposition VPP spokesperson Batskhem Myrboh on Friday said it is for the Election Commission to investigate the recent cash seizure from a vehicle following the convoy of the Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma at Longding, Arunachal Pradesh
Speaking to reporters, Myrboh said the incident had taken place not in Meghalaya. “That question should be best answered by the person whom that car follows and you better ask from the ECI.”
He said that it is fact that money power plays a big role in India. “So, that is our concern, we know we are fighting against Himalaya. We respect the rule of law, let the election commission investigate and come out clean”
“Let the people connect the dots and judge. I believe people of Meghalaya are so intelligent, they don’t need wide explanation. We have been producing intelligent people and our state we have so many, so they can connect the dots. As I said, the people of the state are intelligent and 19 of April is the answer that they will give,” he said.
