As the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance 2.0 Government continued its political appointment spree, the latest inclusion was that of former cabinet Minister and National People’s Party (NPP) leader James Sangma as chairman of Meghalaya Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC).
James, the brother of Chief Minister Conrad Sangma had unsuccessfully contested the Dadenggre Assembly seat and was defeated by TMC’s Rupa Marak.
However, one month after formation of Government James was accommodated as political appointee.
