Kettlebell Champion Sandeep Sharma on Thursday met Chief Minister Conrad Sangma at his office at Meghalaya Secretariat. He was accompanied by Sports Minister Shakliar Warjri. Sharma has recently won a bronze medal in the 80 kg weight category at the Kettlebell World Championships in Poland.
Chief Minister Sangma congratulated Sharma for his outstanding performance and posed for a photo with the accomplished athlete. Sharma’s latest accolade adds to his impressive track record, including a gold medal at the WKSF Kettlebell Asia Championships held in Mumbai in December 2023. During that event, he set a record with 94 repetitions in the 10-minute 24kg Snatch event, showcasing his remarkable endurance and skill.
