Lady Keane College Shillong celebrates college 89th Foundation Day celebration

SHILLONG, JULY 25: Director General of Police (DGP) Meghalaya, Idashisha Nongrang stressed that failure is not something that defines an individual but instead one needs to make a decision on what to do with failure.
The DGP was advising the students of Lady Keane College Shillong during the college 89th Foundation Day celebration.
As an alumni of Lady Keane College, the DGP informed that she left the college 40 years ago in 1984.
“Lady Keane has taught me a lot, it taught me that failure is not something that defines you, it is what you do with that failure that defines you” said Nongrang.
Nongrang said “I joined Lady Keane in 1981 and I was a cocksure overconfident teenager who thought that I knew everything about everything”.
She added that Lady Keane College has over the years contributed so much to society and it has become an integral part for the state of Meghalaya and more so for Shillong.
While congratulating the College, Nongrang said “I am happy to learn that the college has started co-educational courses in some other disciplines and if we stick to the motto of excellence with integrity, I can assure you we can reach far greater heights than you ever thought possible”.
