Mawkyrwat in South-west Khasi Hills on Thursday received 314.0 mm of rainfall, while Mawsynram in East Khasi Hills district received 293.8 mm of rainfall.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) website, Williamnagar in East Garo Hills district received 201.0 mm of rainfall, followed by Pynursla in East khasi Hills district which received 194 mm of rainfall.
Sohra in East Khasi Hills district received 161.1mm of rainfall.
Rain and thunderstorms lashed Tura which caused some of the major damages.
Tura received 128.0 mm of rainfall. Tikrikilla in West Garo Hills received 113.8 mm of rainfall.
Rain fury in East Jaintia Hills was no less, Khliehriat in East Jaintia Hills received 120.4 mm of rainfall and RKM Sohra in East Khasi Hills received 104.8 mm of rainfall.
In Shillong the rainfall was less as the state capital received 20.8 mm of rainfall.
