SHILLONG, SEP 14: The autumn session of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly will commence from August 23 to 30.
Assembly Speaker Thomas A Sangma on Friday said that the calendar for the Assembly session has been approved by the Business Advisory Committee (BAC).
“So the autumn session of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly will be convened on August 23 till August 30. We have decided to have five working days after we have compared the last year’s session,” he added.
The meeting was attended by deputy chief minister Prestone Tynsong and Lahkmen Rymbui from the ruling side and Leader of Opposition and CLP leader Ronnie V Lyngdoh, AITC president Charles Pyngrope from the opposition.
