Meghalaya’s Deputy Chief Minister, Prestone Tynsong, underwent surgery on Thursday at Apollo Hospital, Indraprastha, Delhi. According to a statement from Commissioner & Secretary Vijay Mantri, Tynsong underwent a left fronto-temporal parietal craniotomy with the evacuation of a subdural hematoma (SDH) on September 12, 2024.
“He is conscious, his vitals are stable, and he will be moved out of the ICU after observation,” Mantri added.
Tynsong was rushed to the hospital on Monday evening, where doctors diagnosed him with a small subdural hemorrhage. He was flown to Delhi on Wednesday for further treatment.
