Home Minister Lahkmen Rymbui on Thursday said the government has already initiated disciplinary proceedings against the former Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) GK Iangrai.
“The government had already initiated the disciplinary proceedings as per the mandate of the rule in this particular case,” Rymbui said
He said the Article of Charge has been submitted and now the disciplinary committee will look into all aspects.
“As and when they finish, if proven (guilty) action will be taken (against Iangrai). We don’t want to hide anything. Let us wait and watch,” Rymbui said.
