Minister Incharge of Tourism, Paul Lyngdoh informed that Meghalaya will host the 11th edition of the International Tourism Mart (ITM) in Shillong from November 21 to November 23.
Talking to Media in Shillong, Lyngdoh said, “This is a very important landmark even because it will be for the first time that Shillong will be hosting the ITM.”
The programme will be mainly in New Shillong township and Ri Bhoi District.
The three day event will be inaugurated by Union Tourism Minister GK Reddy and the participants will be from all the North Eastern states.
There will be international participants from various countries as well.
“Through this event, we want to showcase Meghalaya as a tourism hub at the international level,” he added.
