MPCC president issue: AICC to take final call.

Amidst the uncertainty and speculation over the new Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) which continues with a section of legislators and functionaries expressing different opinions, Congress spokesperson, Zenith Sangma said that the ball is in the court of the party’s high command in as far as the decision to change the president of the Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) is concerned.
Refusing to divulge more into the matter, Sangma said whether the Congress is changing the PCC president and if so, by when – all these are internal matters of the party.
Stating that the Congress is having a robust mechanism, the Rangsakona MLA said that the issue is with the high command. “The ball is in the court of the high command and the high command will take a call on this at an appropriate time,” Sangma asserted.
It may be stated that during the visit of AICC Incharge Meghalaya Manish Chatrath some of the Congress legislators reportedly have voiced their opinion on the issue.
