MPCC President Pala to approach leaders who left Congress and joined other parties

The newly appointed president of Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee Vincent H Pala, who is also Member of Parliament from Shillong Lok Sabha Constituency, said he will approach the Congress leaders who left the party and joined other political parties.

“Definitely we will approach those who left the party and also we will call a new one also,” Pala said when asked if the new regime in MPCC under Pala will approach the leaders who left Congress and joined other political parties, thereby creating a Political vacuum.

With less than two years left for the Assembly poll, Pala said his first approach will be setting up a team and look forward to fighting unitedly 2023 Assembly polls.

“First I have to set up a team  and we will look forward to 2023, we  have to fight as a team when we have to fight unitedly,” Pala said.

Asked, he added, “… we will start a membership drive, immediately I have to put my team in place so that we can work together.”
