NPP women wing condemns mob attack Chief Minister’s Office at Tura

The National People’s Party (NPP) Women’s Wing on Wednesday strongly condemned the mob attack at the chief minister’s office (CMO) in Tura.

 

Addressing the media, vice president of the NPP women’s wing Shillong City Damelari Ryntathiang said, “We are deeply concerned about the violent attack on chief minister and other members present at the site to speak and assure the protesters of an amicable resolution to their grievances on July 24. “

 

She said that violence and harming others is not the answer to our problems. She said, “When the CM was present in Tura to address the issue of concern, he was prepared to listen and discuss the many options to address the matter.”

 

The vice president also urged the young and energetic members of the community to redress their dissatisfaction in a peaceful and harmonious way. She said, “Yes, the demands for various community needs will become an important part of governance. All these can be addressed meaningfully and tactfully.”

 

“The Women’s wing is proud of the vision and hard work that the chief minister invests for ensure a pathway for the growth and development of our youth and state of Meghalaya,” she added.
