Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma on Thursday said that the National Testing Agency has informed that the State will have Central University Entrance Test (CUET) again in Shillong, Jowai and Tura and it will be held in offline mode this time.
Talking to Media persons, the Education Minister said the examination will be held at the various school buildings in these three places.
“I have been informed by the NTA that we are going to have the CUET examination again in Shillong, Jowai and Tura in the offline mode this time,” Sangma said.
“I have been informed by the chairman of NTA that they will be holding the CUET exam for the under graduate,” he added.
The National Testing Agency will conduct the CUET UG 2024 examination in hybrid mode. The CUET 2024 exam from May 15 to May 18, 2024 will be held in offline mode. Whereas, the exams scheduled from May 21 to May 24, 2024 will be held in CBT mode.
Assuring that the state Government is working on the process, he said the NTA is the authority concerned conducting the examination and the state Government is just coordinating, the Minister added.
