Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee President Vincent H Pala welcomed the suggestion given by Congress Legislature Party leader and Former Chief Minister Dr. Mukul Sangma that he would soon speak to the Congress high command and resolve issues within the four walls of the party.
Stating that all should abide by the directives given by Congress High command, Pala said, “Dr Mukul is a very senior leader in the party, he is the CLP also. We welcome any solution as long as the high command says I appreciate his idea that the high command takes decisions and we should all abide by the decision of the high command. I have no problem with that.”
He further added, “In the party sometimes we may have disappointment like I said I welcome any solution whatever the party high command says.”
Amidst the ongoing internal rift between the two leaders of Congress, Pala also informed that he will be travelling to Delhi on Monday, Meanwhile, Dr. Mukul Sangma is expected to visit Delhi in a day or two to meet Congress high command.
“I will be going to Delhi on Monday because I have meetings on Monday and Tuesday,” the MPCC chief said.
He also asserted, he is ready to meet CLP leader Mukul Sangma anywhere following the “course correction’ suggestion of the latter.
I don’t have any problem in going, if High command tells me to go any time, any moment,” Pala added.
