Sanbor laid foundation for feeder road in Laban.


Legislator of the 19-South Shillong Constituency Sanbor Shullai on Saturday laid the foundation stone for the construction of feeder road connecting the road adjacent to the Mynsain forest to the Buddhist temple at upper Lumparing, Shillong. The road that was initiated by legislator Sanbor Shullai will be constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 1,34,59,000/-(rupees one crore thirty-four lakhs fifty-nine thousand) under the PWD general state scheme, thereby fulfilling the 25 years long aspiration of the people of upper Lumparing Area.
Addressing the gathering, Shullai assured that the construction of the road will be done immediately without any delay.
While lauding the collective efforts of the PWD (Public Works Department) officials, Dorbar Shnong of Upper Lumparing, and the residents of the locality especially the landowners who have donated their lands, the legislator said, the road will be a great help for the residents.
