SHILLONG, FEB 29: BJP legislator from South Shillong Sanbor Shullai on Thursday said, “It is wrong and baseless on the part of the Congress leader Ronnie V Lyngdoh to say I don’t speak and I don’t attend Assembly.”

Shullai said that he had also raised his voice against implementation of the Uniform civil code (UCC).

“I have sent memorandum and appeals sto Narendra Modi andAmit Shah to exempt implementation of UCC from the Sixth Schedule area. I went to Delhi to speak,” he said.
