TMC’s 17th North Shillong candidate TMC’s Elgiva Rynjah on Saturday filed her nomination. Accompanied by her supporters, TMC’s North Shillong candidate, Elgiva Gwyneth Rynjah, led a rally from her constituency to the DC office.
The spirit was high, so was the enthusiasm. Highlighting key focus, Rynjah said Women empowerment, Youth empowerment, upliftment of the constituency, Education, health are some of the areas.
“My key focus are women empowerment, youth empowerment, upliftment of the constituency , education is being increased because we have seen the entire education sector in the state, the health sector is in shambles,” Rynjah said.
While stating on the need to revive each and every sector in the state, the TMC Meghalaya candidate said, “ We have to promote indigenous tourism, we have to promote our local musicians, we have to promote a lot of local indigenous thing in our constituency as well as the state as a whole, being the leader. “
She also claimed that her constituency has accepted the promises made by TMC. Talking to us, Elgiva said she will fight with brains to defeat Money power as well as muscle power.
“I am going to fight with my brains, I am not going to fight with money power and I believe in my voters in my constituency they know better whom to vote for, I will not mention anything further because voters of North Shillong are intellectual voters. They will understand which leader can lead them,” She added.
