Two drug traffickers from Assam were arrested along with heroin from Shillong on Wednesday.
The duo who hails from Badarpur, Karimganj and Katigorah, Silchar, Chachar were arrested by the anti-narcotic task force (ANTF), East Khasi Hills District from Hotel Serene, GS Road, Police Bazar. They are aged 26 and 31.
20 soap boxes of heroin weighing 250.64 grams, 2 mobile phones, one brown colour Toshiba laptop bag, 2 epic cards, 2 pan cards were seized from their possession.
A case under NDPS Act is being registered against the two at Sadar police station.
