Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong has recently reviewed the construction of the 95 kilometers Shillong-Dawki road project.
Tynsong said that during the meeting, officials of the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) informed that the tender process for the two packages of the project is almost completed.
“The NHIDCL will soon approve the financial bid and once that is done fresh work order will be issued,” he added.
The NHIDCL has to call for retendering after contractors implementing package 1 and package 5 have surrendered the work recently.
