UDP condemns attempts to incite communal disharmony in Meghalaya.

Expressing its resentment over the social media uproar regarding communal tension in the state, the United Democratic Party today condemn these elements who try to vitiate the environment.
UDP President Metbah Lyngdoh urged the government to conduct an inquiry against those who have been alleging that there is communal disharmony in the state.
UDP’s General Secretary Jemino Mawthoh said, “For so long the people of Meghalaya have been living in peaceful co-existence with other communities as well so to paint a picture like that outside communities are being discriminated – that is very wrong and these types of elements should be nipped in the bud and the government has to take a serious call on this.”
The UDP today had a six hours long meeting which focuses on to revamp itself up to grass root level. EOM
