Deputy Chief Minister incharge of Home (Police) Prestone Tynsong, on Wednesday said the vacancies in the police department will be filled up within this year.
Talking to reporters, Tynsong said the personal interview will be held very soon.
“Now the personal interview will be held very soon within may be 3-4 days,” the Deputy Chief Minister incharge of Home (Police) said.
Admitting that there is shortage of manpower in the police department, he said, “….. right now about 1000 plus personal interview is being called and then immediately after that the personal interview is completed, the process is completed we are going to advertise for another may be 1500 man power which is required in the power department alone.”
“I am sure this process will start very soon, will make sure that the vacancies that we have the shortage that we have will fill it up within this year itself,” the Deputy CM added.
