Shillong, March 22, 2024: In its continued drive against illicit liquor/illegal sale of IMFL, Beer, Wine, etc., the office of the Deputy Commissioner (Excise), East Khasi Hills District conducted raids in restaurants/stalls in the town and its outskirts where during the month of January 2024, the Excise staffs detected 13 cases with a seizure of 76.5 litres of i/d liquor and 146.145 litres IMFL. In this connection, 11 persons have been arrested under Excise Act.
