In a major Political Development two sitting Congress Members of District Council (MDCs) and one Ex MDC joined NPP on Monday.
NPP National President Conrad Sangma welcomed the sitting Congress MDCs Batskhmen Ryntathiang, MDC Mairang, and Carness Sohshang, MDC Mawkyrwat.
Former MDC from Sohra Donevan Kharwanlang was also inducted in the party.
. Present on the occasion were NPP State President Prestone Tynsong, beside other legislators and members.
Talking to Media person, the NPP National president Conrad K Sangma there are positive moves from a lot of constituencies as a lot of leaders are joining NPP and this will have an impact in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls as well.
Stating that many leaders from different political backgrounds joining NPP, he said,”There is never a vacuum in politics, because whenever there is a vacuum it’s filled up immediately.”
