Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma on Monday said a delegation from the Human Resource department will visit Meghalaya and hold a review meeting with the state Education Department.
Informing about this, Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma said during their meeting with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on July 4 various issues related to Education were highlighted.
“The Union Minister has listened to our issues and the problems, the centre will be sending officials to look into issues that are affecting the Education Department in the state, to understand the problems on ground and address them,” Meghalaya Education Minister Rakkam A Sangma said.
The Minister further informed that the review meeting is likely to be held before 20th of July and it will be chaired by Chief Minister Conrad Sangma.
“The review meeting is supposed to be held before the parliament session means before 20th of this month, it is most likely. The union Minister is kind enough to send his officers from the Human Resource Development to come to the state, come to the ground, meet with our officers and understand our state issues,” he added.
“These officials from centre will be discussing issues like CUET, SSA issues, about the state university issue, and many other will be taken up in the meeting that will be chaired by the honourable Chief Minister,” the Minister said.
