The United Democratic Party has questioned the leadership of Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee President Vincent H Pala, as Cabinet minister and UDP legislator Lahkmen Rymbui has asked Pala to introspect why all Congress members are leaving the party as soon as he took charge as the party chief.
Talking to reporters, Rymbui said, “I think he should introspect why all his colleagues run away from him. As soon as he comes to the state, the Congress lost all its MLAs and even the prospective candidates who were likely to contest from the Congress are running away.”
Earlier, the MPCC President has term UDP as a “coward party” as it is running away from problems.
Rymbui, who is a former congress leader, said that the Congress has become “zero” because of Pala.
“He should introspect why the Congress, being the largest party in 2018, became zero. It becomes zero because of whom, it is because of him,” the UDP leader said.
“…due to his (Pala) own mismanagement, the party was reduced to zero and it will become minus zero after 2023 elections,” Rymbui told reporters
