Meghalaya NPP working President and cabinet Minister Marcuise N Marak said under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi there is no chance for Congress at the centre.
Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, Marak categorically stated that there will be no positive outcome of this Yatra.
“I don’t see any positive things,” Marak said while commenting on Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.
He further said Congress is projecting the wrong person for the leadership as the party has gone down during Rahul ‘s leadership.
“I don’t see any chances for Congress to bounce back. There is no chance for Congress, they don’t have leadership also. They don’t have charismatic leadership who will be able to lead the Nation,” the NPP leader said.
It may be mentioned that Congress soon will be organising Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra – From Manipur to Mumbai covering 15 states, 110 districts, and 100 Lok Sabha seats, covering 6,713 km in approximately 66-68 days.
However, the ruling NPP in Meghalaya feels Congress lacks leadership to convince the people of the Nation.
“I think they are projecting the wrong person for the leadership, nobody relies on Rahul Gandhi’s leadership. Under his leadership only congress has gone down and I don’t see anything positive happening with congress,” he added.
While mentioning Congress in Meghalaya, Marak said NPP has shown better performance in the state.
