Meghalaya asks for additional 75 Sub Health Centers for proactive healthcare

​Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Monday requested Union Health Minister, Mansukh Mandaviya for an additional 75 Sub Health Centers for the state.

Sangma led a d​elegation of cabinet Ministers and officials on a tour to New Delhi.

Holding a meeting with Mandaviya, the Chief Minister said these  centres will serve as Health & Wellness Centers for proactive healthcare in line with the vision of  PM & the PM ABHIM Scheme.

Expressing his gratitude towards central Government for the PM ABHIM scheme, the CM said this is immensely helping Meghalaya in bridging the gap of health infrastructure required in the State.

. Chief Minister Conrad Sangma was accompanied by  Deputy Chief Ministers, Prestone Tynsong & Sniawbhalang Dhar &  Ministers, Dr. Ampareen Lyngdoh, Marcuise N Marak and A T Mondal during his Delhi tour.

Moving further, the Meghalaya delegation led by the  Chief Minister met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Union Sports Minister, Anurag Thakur.
