Meghalaya Cabinet on Friday approved the enhancement of Grant-in-aid for 710 Pre-Primary Schools.
The grant-in-aid has been enhanced from ₹12,000 to ₹18,000 for all teachers in Pre-Primary School level.
Government spokesperson and cabinet Minister Paul Lyngdoh said, “The enhancement of grant-in-aid for pre-primary schools has been a long pending grievances of pre-primary school teachers.”
