Meghalaya Govt expects to bring back its stranded citizens from Sikkim in next 2-3 days

MDA government spokesperson Paul Lyngdoh on Friday informed that arrangements have been made to bring back students of the state from Sikkim.

Speaking to reporters, the cabinet minister said, “As soon as the news reached the state government, we have send transport facilities to pick up students stranded in Sikkim. As we speak, students are being picked.”

He said within the next two to three days the entire operation will be complete.

“Based on the advisory that they should leave the Sikkim immediately, we have taken it very seriously and we hope that within the next 2-3 days the operation will be completed,” he added.
