Suspended Congress MLA from Rambrai-Jyrngam Kimfa S Marbaniang on Wednesday resigned as member of the Assembly.
Marbaniang handed over his resignation letter to the Speaker Metbah Lyngdoh at the Assembly Secretariat at Khyndai Lad.
His resignation also came a day before his formal joining the ruling National People’s Party (NPP).
