MoS Rajeev Chandrasekhar to visit Meghalaya

The Minister of State for Electronics & Information Technology and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar is set to embark on a two-day visit to Meghalaya, starting tomorrow. During this official visit, the Minister will engage in discussions with local party cadres, community leaders, and business leaders, with a primary focus on showcasing the accomplishments of Prime Minister Modi’s government over the past nine years.

 

The Minister will first land in Shillong, where he will start the day convening meetings with core committee members from both the state and city party offices. Subsequently, he will undertake a visit to the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, where he will actively engage with community leaders.

 

After this, the Minister will be conducting an interactive session with the media. The Minister will also participate in the Sampark Se Samarthan event later in the day, wherein he will visit local residences to engage with the citizens and talk about the nine-year achievements of PM Modi’s governance.

 

He will conclude his day with engagements with influencers originating from the state, followed by interactions with prominent business leaders.

 

On the second day of his visit, MoS Rajeev Chandrasekhar will continue his extensive outreach by visiting local residences and engaging with individuals representing diverse communities. Towards the end of the day, he will convene meetings with local business leaders who have established their enterprises within the state.

 

This visit marks MoS Rajeev Chandrasekhar’s second visit to the state of Meghalaya within a span of six months. During his previous visit in January, he launched PMKVY 4.0, an integral part of the Skill India Mission in Shillong.

 

This initiative introduced courses and skilling programs for various fields, ranging from AI and blockchain to mobile repairing, vehicle maintenance, and management, empowering the youth with vital skills.
