An employee of the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) on Thursday was arrested by Tura police and contraband substance were seized from his house.
The Anti Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) team conducted an operation in Daldagre locality of Tura and arrested Omarius D. Sangma (36), S/o Greaterson N Marak who is presently working in MBOSE as a Peon.
Police said, “30 Strips of Pyeevon Spas Plus capsules (719 Nos.) were recovered from his house.”
It was also informed that he is suspected of drug peddling in Tura town area.
“Case is being registered and investigation is on,” police added.
